Precote Top 100 is a film-forming surface coating based on wax with temporary corrosion protection. It reduces underhead and thread friction during the assembly. precote Top 100 prevents stick-slip and fretting and higher clamping forces can be reached with similar tightening torques. The coating is dry and tack-free.
Precote Top 100 is used as a coating for all types of threaded joints. precote Top 100 can be used as a partial coating or in a dip and spin process. Depending on requirements, precote Top 100 is processed in a dilution with 1 to a maximum of 5 parts water.
The coating can be used in all kind of assembly procedures, particularly for serial production.
Areas of application are electronics, two wheel and automotive industry, household appliances, office machines, computer industry, electric motors, e-mobility, etc.
