Precote 10-1 is a non-reactive coating based on polyamide that offers immediate clamping of cylindrical threads. The coating is dry and tack-free, with good adherence.
Precote 10-1 is used as a coating for assembly components, e.g. screws and studs in cylindrical/cylindrical pairing, where controlled and high initial installation torque for adjustment is needed. Furthermore precote 10-1 can be used as captive coating, as transport lock and a seal against low pressure. The coating can be reused. precote 10-1 does not have to be melted and can therefore be used as polyamide coating for temperature sensitive surfaces.
Areas of application are electronics, two wheel and automotive industry, household appliances, office machines, computer industry, electric motors, e-mobility, etc.
